Visa Information
As a foreign passport holder who plans to have a short visit in Taiwan, visa of Taiwan grants visa-free and landing visa. You must hold a valid passport with remaining validity of at least six months as of the date of entry. You can find the detailed information via Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Visa-Exempt Entry (Visa Free)
Nationals of the following countries are eligible for the visa exemption program, with a duration of stay of up to 90 days:
- Andorra, Australia*(effective from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2019), Austria
- Belgium, Bulgaria
- Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic
- Denmark
- Estonia
- Finland, France
- Germany, Greece, Guatemala
- Haiti, Honduras*, Hungary
- Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy
- Japan*
- Republic of Korea
- Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg
- Malta, Marshall Islands*, Monaco
- the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, North Macedonia*(effective from May 21, 2018 to March 31, 2020), Norway
- Palau, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal
- Romania
- San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
- Tuvalu*
- the United Kingdom, the United States of America*
- Vatican City State
Nationals of the following countries are eligible for the visa exemption program, with a duration of stay of up to 30 days:
- Belize*
- Dominican Republic
- Malaysia
- Nauru*
- Saint Christopher and Nevis*, Saint Lucia*, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore
Nationals of the following countries are eligible for the visa exemption program, with a duration of stay of up to 14 days:
- Brunei (effective from August 1, 2016, to July 31, 2019)
- Philippines (effective from November 1, 2017, to July 31, 2019)
- Russia (effective from September 6, 2018, to July 31, 2019)
- the kingdom of Thailand (effective from August 1, 2016, to July 31, 2019)
Landing Visa
- Holders of Turkish passport with validity of more than six months.
- Holders of emergency or temporary passports with validity of more than six months for nationals of those countries(except for US) eligible for visa-exempt entry.
Official Invitation Letter
PIC 2019 Invitation Letter can only be issued to accepted registrant who has completed registration payment. If you require an official invitation letter for visa, please email Conference Secretariat, Ms. Genie Huang, geniehuang@hep1.phys.ntu.edu.tw.
For China Visitor
大陸地區人民來臺從事專業交流申請
申辦截止日期：請於2019年5月3日前備妥相關文件email 至秘書黃小姐 geniehuang@hep1.phys.ntu.edu.tw。
申辦方式：由邀請單位線上申辦
申辦時間：如無須補件或特殊情況，自送件翌日起算3至5個工作天
申辦費用：新臺幣 600 元（此費用請於會議註冊時繳納）
發證方式：由邀請單位於線上系統下載入出境許可證電子檔，轉發申請人列印持憑入境。為維護入出境許可證之列印品質，應使用最新版之PDF閱讀軟體讀取，並使用A4白色紙張以雷射印表機彩色滿版列印。
應備文件：（以下文件請提供彩色電子檔 jpg 格式）
- 下載並填妥「台灣地區入出境申請書-線上預覽」。中文姓名及相關資料須以正（繁）體字填寫，英文姓名須與護照或大陸居民往來臺灣通行證之英文姓名相同。
- 大陸地區居民身分證正反面影本
- 大陸地區核發效期六個月以上旅行證件（但不包含港澳通行證）影本
- 最近1年內彩色白底照片，脫帽未帶有色眼鏡，五官清晰、不遮蓋，相片不修改，足資辨識人貌，直4.5公分橫3.5公分人像自頭頂至下顎之長度不得小於3.2公分及超過3.6公分，白色背景之正面半身薄光面紙照片，且不得使用合成照片。
- 3個月內之在職證明，需服務單位開立正本，並蓋機關章。
- 最高學歷畢業證書影本
- CV
- 預定來台的日期及天數
注意事項：
- 取得入出境許可證後，原訂入台或離台時間有所變動，請提前告知秘書，以便進行報備作業，避免影響您出入境台灣及後續申請人之權益。

大陸地區人民旅居香港、澳門或國外（大陸以外）地區者
申辦截止日期：請於2019年5月3日前備妥相關文件email 至秘書黃小姐 geniehuang@hep1.phys.ntu.edu.tw。
申辦方式：申請人向臺灣駐外館處申請，邀請單位另檢具所有應備文件線上申辦
申辦費用：新臺幣 600 元（此費用請於會議註冊時繳納）
應備文件：
- 下載並填妥「大陸地區人民入出台灣地區申請書」。中文姓名及相關資料須以正（繁）體字填寫，英文姓名須與護照或大陸居民往來臺灣通行證之英文姓名相同。申請人向臺灣駐外館處送件前，須向會議秘書取得其線上申請之收件號。
- 大陸地區居民身分證正反面影本
- 大陸地區核發效期六個月以上旅行證件（但不包含港澳通行證）影本
- 國外地區再入境簽證、居留證、香港或澳門身分證影本。
